General:
Backed by over 25 years collecting militaria I am slowly selling off my collection. There are several desirable high end medals (Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky, Order of Lenin, Order of Nevsky, Order of the Red Banner (2nd and 1st awards), Orders of the Great Patriotic War, Orders of the Red Star etc. which will come up for sale. This collection has been researched and studied, with most items being bought back in the 90’s. Other items, have either purchased from reputable dealers, subjected to the scrutiny of experts in the field or to peer review by other collectors when my own experience may have been insufficient.
Description of the item being saleed:
A lovely and original Order of the Red Banner - 2nd award. Medal has a lovely patina. Enamel appears to be undamaged. Gilting is good and ribbon is in excellent condition. A truly lovely specimen with serial number 26952 offering good prospects to anyone interested in researching this order as the serial number is early enough for it to be a combat red banner. Appears to be a T5V2 (Durov) or a T4V2 (Mondvor.narod.ru). Forget cheap fillers, this is your chance to obtain the real thing.
Terms of sale:
I do not accept returns so the sale is final. However rest assured that the item is guaranteed and has been reviewed by top collectors. I endeavor to be as faithful as possible in my description as well as the photos. My response speaks for itself and I will try to facilitate the transaction for you. Should you require any additional pics or have any queries, 1) please do not hesitate to ask and 2) please, please do not leave it till the last minute. I will try to respond within 24 hours but any questions asked in the last 24 hours may remain unanswered - I am a busy person with a full time job and collecting is a hobby and not my job!

Payment:
Either to my bank account or via paypal. In either case please note that all the fees and/or charges associated with your chosen method of payment (whether bank or paypal) are to be at your expense. If effecting payment into a bank account I will ask for this in Euro - I will use the rate of exchange on the day’s USD to EUR exchange rates from xe.com on the day the sale closes.
Do not send payment until I have sent you my invoice given that there are additional fees/charges depending on the mode of payment. Payment sent before I send my invoice, will be returned and followed with the updated invoice.
Shipping:
All shipping is by registered mail and will take place within approximately 3 working days from receipt of payment (unless I am traveling in which case it may take a bit longer).
The cost of shipping covers packing, post and registration. As a rule I ship with tracking - I can however accept to omit this for packages having a total cost of less than USD100 inclusive of shipping costs to save your some money, but 1) you will need to inform me specifically and 2) you need to understand that I will not accept any responsibility for items shipped without tracking.
Same charges apply worldwide.
I will combine multiple items at USD7.00 per item.
For higher value items, you may prefer to use a courier service.Charges will range between USD55.00 and USD65.00 depending on your location.
My obligations are to provide you with a well packed item, delivered by the method of your choice and with a means of tracking your item and proof of postage. If you opt out of tracking you do so entirely at your own risk. I also cannot be held responsible for any customs charges on your end, or for products being held or seized by customs.
