Pair of Panel Raising Planes For Sale

A pair of New England Tool Works tiger maple panel raising planes. They are right and left-handed planes designed to avoid tear out by allowing the user to always go with the grain. The planes are in near new condition with very minimal use. I would call the condition 98/100, or near perfect. The irons are perfect. These planes closely resemble those made by Leon Robbins, and my guess is that there must be some sort of connection.Included are a pair of matching irons. These were sold by Woodcraft, and the price per iron was $ 31.50. I must assume that the planes were purchased from Woodcraft as well. I have never seen a pair of these planes sold with extra irons.Whenever a pair of the planes comes up for sale, they routinely sell for $ 500 plus, and without the extra irons.The planes are stamped N.E. Tool Works, Groton, CT on their heels. No other marks are visible.
