It looks to be marked \'PETER WRIGHT PATENT\' on the side, and you can just make out the wordPATENT and part of WRIGHT.This is marked and shaped EXACTLY like another Peter Wright anvil we have on site. On the scaleit weighs about153 lbs. The markings indicate 156 lbs (1*112lbs + 1*28lbs + 16*1lb).The base measures 9 3/4\" by10\". Overall, theanvil is 24 3/4\" long by 10 1/2\" tall, and is4 1/4\"wide onthe top of the face.Guaranteed to be original...and a rustic barn find.A good Peter Wright anvil for the collector or the perfect anvil to go back into service in the blacksmith shop!
