A little history on the Canton, Ohio based Old King Cole Displays Company: The company dates back to 1896 when it began making advertising displays.In the early years they specialized in paper mache and plaster but became one of the early pioneers of the rotational molding process in the late 50\'s. One of the original products converted to rotational molding was the RCA Victor Dog \"Nipper™\" which they originally made in paper mache in 1917. Mr. Peanut and mannequins soon followed. Through the 60\'s and early 70\'s the company was recognized as a leader in rotational molding. The company is no longer in business.

You might find information only online, pictures, etc. but it\'s extremely rare to find an actual product made by Old King Cole Displays Co. You are offerding on a rare pair of very sturdy papier mache (very sturdy layers) Santa Claus store displays. Each measures nearly 13\" tall. There is a slit in one Santa\'s hand, probably for holding a card or advertisement; and there is a small hole on top of the other Santa\'s hands. They are both in very good condition with some very minor paint loss. There are 2 tiny \"chips\" on the base of one & another small one on the back of Santa\'s hat. If you collect Vintage Christmas, this is one thing you cannot pass up!
