RARE Navajo VTG Smaller KETOH BOW GUARD Turquoise & Silver Bracelet Unisex For Sale

Hard to find, earlier, vintage Navajo Turquoise and Silver Ketoh Bow Guard, in a smaller size - perhaps made for a child, and ideal for a woman\'s wrist!

The silver piece on the front shows wonderful stamping and repousse work, and is set with two turquoise stones in raised bezels, slightly different in shape and size. There is a wonderful old silver fluted button on the back, for use to encircle and close with the ties. The vintage leather is slightly stiff from age, but still flexible, and easy to wear. The silver measures 2\" x 2\", and the button is 7/8\" in diameter. The smaller stone measures just under 5/8\" long x 7/16\" wide at the center, and the longer oval stone measures 6/8\" long x 3/8\" wide at its broadest. The total length of the leather is 8 3/4\", and overlaps a bit (up to 4\"), depending on wrist size. Width is 2 1/4\"(center front), narrowing at the very ends to 1 1/4\". It has two sets of holes, so can be adjusted larger, if desired. The way it sits right now, it would fit a 6 to 6 1/2\" wrist very nicely.

Condition is excellent vintage, wearable, and very collectible. It shows signs of wear from having been worn and loved, and comes from a smoke free environment. It is a stunning, very unusual piece, and would make a great addition to any fine collection of Native jewelry - either to wear or showcase.
