You are viewing an early DH-41-1 Flight Helmet manufactured by Gentex for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). This helmet dates from about 1971 and the \"45\" on the rear of the helmet is believed to be the squadron identifier. The helmet was owned by a Major Hemming and a label is affixed to the rear of the helmet.
This helmet is equipped with a Gold coated Nuclear flash visor and I haven\'t seen another one like this. The lens was made by Sierracin the manufacturer for most of the U.S. gold coated lens. I will also include the tinted lens.
I am including the MS-22001 Oxygen mask with Pate suspension assembly. This is a bit dusty and shows use but this helmet and visor are quite rare.
The styrofoam head is not included.

While I am not 100% sure what the finalresult will be, at this point, the decision has been made to sell most of myforeign equipment, pre-jet age equipment, and any duplicate U.S. Jet Agehelmets in the collection.
