Rare Vintage Dunmore RedTin Box Bank Children with Clock – Time is Money

Highlycollectable small vintage biscuit tin from Dunmore, dating to circa 1910. Avibrant red color, the tin is decorated with images of children, and there’s aslot in the lid making this a bank or money box. The adage “Time is money” ison the lid, and so there is a clock on the back side, with one moveable handstill present. There is a keyhole in the front, but no key, and lid does notopen, it’s presumably locked shut. Lid is hinged.

CONDITION:

Some small areasof wear, some small scratches and scuffs, some handling marks and normalvintage soiling, some small and minor dents and dings, some minor early rust, etc.

·Somegeneralized wear; most wear is on corners of base and on lid edge.

·A few small butnoticeable dents,especially on one end; a ding on another corner.

·Somenoticeable wear on clock area; only onehand present.

·Sideof base with clock bows inward slightly.

·NO KEY. Lid pulls upa bit but cannot be opened, seems to be locked shut. Condition of interior notknown.

·Lightvintage wear on bottom.

Approximatesize of tin is about 3.75” by 2.5” by about 5.25” tall.

The tin isempty.

No longer forfood use. Any props not included.
