Antique Sidney Hollow Ware Size 7 Shallow Skillet with the 3 Hole Handle. Sidney Hollow Ware was a company that manufactured Cast Iron Cookware from 1887 to 1897. They eventually sold out to Wagner Ware and that is the reason so many pieces are confused as to who manufactured them. This Shallow Skillet is pretty scarce. This one sits flat and has a very nice cooking surface. This is one of the Nickel Finish versions. If you are into rare cookware or know that someone that is this is the skillet you want to get for them or you. CAST IRON, all the cast iron is cleaned and seasoned unless its stated otherwise. I gauge movement by a business card. Less than a card of movement I consider it to be flat. Any movement more than that I will list it as how many cards it takes to level it out. I clean the cast by electrolysis and season it with a beeswax and vegetable oil mixture. I only use one coat of seasoning so that you the buyer can see any issues in the pan. It will darken up over time and use to become the black color everyone associates with Cast iron Skillets. If I find any difficulties or issues with the Cast Iron item I will state it in the narrative. I buy alot of items off of so I understand that you the buyer need me to be as honest and knowledgeable as I can be so you are a well informed buyer. I rarely have a buyer complaint but when I do I have been able to remedy it quickly.
