Offered is a rare enameled 935 grade sterling make-up and perfume holder or purse. It is made up of 2 pieces--a lipstick tube which creates the handle and the holder itself which accommodates a small perfume bottle, a powder holder W/ puff and a mirror. Both pieces are made of silver which has engraved patterning as well as cream colored enamel with gold inlaid into it on the sides. The main case is 3 1/4\" long and elliptical in shape, 1 5/8\" long, 1 1/4\" wide. The lipstick is 2\" long, 1/2\" in diameter. The piece is marked \"935 Austria Sterling\" and has a maker\'s mark which looks like \"LA.\" The interior of the piece is fully gilded. Black cord connects the 2 pieces. The set is in fine condition with no damage to the enamel except one small nick on the lipstick tube end. Great find!
