Only a few are made in each style per year and never made again. The box we are offering can not be found for sale anywhere at this time. Hermes is very exclusive and rare. This item can easily hold a dozen scarves and and is very beautiful in a highly polished lacquer. There is a J shaped scratch approximately 2 1/4\" long on the top surface near the centre medallion but is almost invisible in most lighting situations. Lacquer is very susceptible to scratches but the depth of the glow on this surface, and the color hide any small imperfection. You will not see these imperfections while the box is on display. We only tell you because close examination under very strong cross light will reveal it. The bottom is marked with the Hermes logo as seen in the photos. We have shown the box with scarves in it and around the box to show the scale and beauty of the box. Only the box is for sale. We do not have the orange Hermes packaging box but will ship it very carefully wrapped in a non scratching material. This is an item of elegant beauty and design perfection. Although not as expensive this box is far more rare than the Hermes Birkin Handbag and even more unobtainable since only a few are made in each style per year. This is the lap of luxury.
