This is a rare early 1910-20\'s era waterman 22 taper cap fountain pen. It is an eyedropper, and when posted meant to emulate a dip pen. The pen is fitted with an earlier star nib, which predates waterman\'s numbering system and probably dates to the 19th century.
The condition is good overall. There are no cracks in the rubber and the nib has been adjusted for smooth flow. There is a small nick in one gold band and the nib looks to be slightly overcut in the tines but I do not predict it to be a problem even with regular use. The pen is oxidized and the imprint is worn.
I will polish the nib on request.
