SARGENT NO. 160 ROUGHING PLANE - SCRUB PLANE - EARLY MODEL - SOLID CASTING For Sale

Up for sale is a rare Sargent No. 160 Roughing Plane. This is the early model with solid casting, manufactured from 1916 thru 1927. It measures about 10\" long. The 1\" wide cutter is unsigned. No markings on the plane body. Some light pitting on the sole cleaned up easily. About 60% of the japanning remains. Only excuse is: the two holes on either side of the casting at the frog area are not original to the plane. They were cut out at some point in the past. A good user.
