This lovely two-sheetposter displays the elegant balancing possibilities perfected by Miss Aeza andWilliam—whether employing stylish cast iron frames or simply using their own physicalstrength. In January of 1900, London News of the Week wrote, \"Aeza andWilliam have a wonderful show. The latter sustains an elaborate metalstructure... the foot of the stem resting in a pocket in front of him; up this,with the agility of a squirrel, swarms Aeza—a lady fair and tall—and thenbalancing herself on a bar at the end of the transverse piece of the framework,she proceeds to gyrate, etc., as if the bar was six instead of about five andtwenty feet from the ground. And poor William has to balance this on the frontof him all the time.\"
