In our 20 years of collecting and selling vintage electronics we\'ve only run across this model once before. Incredibly, everything works on this one!

This vintage portable radio is very similar to a Panapet but a bit larger, measuring in at 6 inches in diameter. The startling difference is the large piece of diamond pattern plexi on front which hasa series of colored lights behind it. These bulbs are connected to the radio and they flash and strobe in differing intensity depending on the volume and sound coming out of the speaker. It\'s like carrying your own private disco around!
No maker\'s name on the device and I\'ve not been able to discover who made it. Looks to be from the late 60s or early 70s. AM radio works off 4 C size batteries.
Tested and works fine. Very slight hum at loud volume but that\'s expected in this style AM radios. No corrosion in the battery compartment.
Exterior is in overall excellent shape with no large cracks, breaks or detractions. Has some light scuffs and scratches but nothing too noticeable. Check out the detail shots in our photos to see close ups.The last photo shows you how much larger it is compared to a Panapet. The Panapet radio is just there to show size, it isn\'t included in this sale.
