STANLEY RULE & LEVEL Co USA 55 COMBINATION PLANE.A Stanley 55 combination plane.Comes complete with 4 boxes of cutters.All complete and additional spare items also included in box as per pictures.GENERALLY IT IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. There is some loss of nickel on the top of the plane,i.e. the central portion which holds the cutters; conducive with some use and age.There is also a small loss to original casting where depth gage attaches to body. Unlikely to affect normal functioning, but only fair to point it out.(see picture).The lid for the box is missing, but would be easy to replace with small sheet of ply cut to size.A fine old tool.
