Silver and Guilloche Enamel Pill Snuff Box Round For Sale

This is a lovely pill or snuff holder, guilloche enamel top with trees reflecting on a pond with a handsome sky. On the bottom is a leaf pattern in deep purple, also enamel. There is also a purple border on the top. The silver has beautiful engraving in high relief with beading around the edges on the top and bottom. The box is about 3/8 inch deep and 2 1/8 inch wide. There is slight wear on the top and bottom, slight scratching. No dents. The only marks are \"4200\" in the center of the top and also on the center of the bottom. Those that are similar are from around 1910. This is a beautiful enamel and silver plate pill box with wonderful detail in the enamel on top and bottom.
