    is only held in the hinge on one side (other side broken)

Dial / Pointer:

Material: enamel (repair, see above) / color: white / real glass

Annotation:  The Prior - watchmaking family (John 1747-1820 / George from 1782 /

Edward 1800-1868) was mainly specialized in clock production for the Ottoman

market (Ottoman lettering on the dials, but not on this watch). If

the year mark is a “U”, could be the clock from 1815;

the Prior family was “active” there.

Condition (see also photos):

Attractive, well-functioning (the balance swings well, power reserve:

approx. 29 h / quick start when opening, goes minimally), old gentlemen

Pocket watch, etc. E. "Defects" ("patina") that do not have a negative impact. Housing: age-

corresponding signs of use, small scratches / various dents on the

case (fits this watch), defect on the hinge of the bezel [one side], numeric

sheet: a repair at 8 o'clock, relatively insignificant short hairline cracks. Straight

Inspection by the master watchmaker (movement completely dismantled and cleaned).

PLEASE NOTE!!!   For organizational reasons, the dispatch of order

lungs from our shop do not stop shipping further orders

can be combined with our offer at MA Shops.  To the clocks: the clocks are

mostly "antique" and much used and the accuracy etc. can not - alone by

the technology ̶ correspond to that of a quartz watch, for example. However, they should have a definite

meet the ned standard (“work well”). The clockwork etc. are basically

- If experience is available - examined and deficits eliminated as far as possible;

if necessary, experienced watchmakers are called in. Remaining deficits

are - if determined and in our opinion worth mentioning - described in the text.
