U.S. Patent Des.254,080 X-Wing Fighter Star Wars Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corp:
$195.00

Original Patent from the Patent & Trademark Office

Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation

Inventors: Joseph Johnston & Colin Cantwell

Design254,080 Patented Jan. 29, 1980

In 2002 the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office decided to go paperless and recycled all copies. Before they decided to recycle you were not allowed to take the copies out of the search room. Once they decided to recycle they would bring huge recycle bins out and they would leave them for about 5 minutes and if anyone wanted any they could grab them. We were able to get some of these patents. This is NOT the original patent sent to the inventors. This patent came from the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. These were how people (inventors, searches, examiners) searched patents to make sure no one else had already patented an idea. This patenthas a sticker at the top left corner.Class D21, Subclass 451. The application was filed on Sept. 12, 1977and patented on Jan. 29, 1980 (the date this copy was printed). On the date of issue they would print all the copies and file them in their specific Class and Subclass. Due to the age of the paper, they are fragile. This patent is in very good shape. No marks or tears. There are holes at the bottom from stapling and unstapling, which were done for copying. There are 2 pages.

These make good conversational and collection pieces if you decide to frame them. We took them to the Antique\'s Roadshowon August 17andgot an estimate of $300+ depending on what sale we put them in.
