VINTAGE MARBLE\'S 72218010 WOODCRAFT STAG/ALUMINUM KNIFE WITH SHEATH AND BOX For Sale

This knife is from our family collection. My Dad has so many beautiful knives and has decided to part with a few, so jump on this opportunity! My Dad kept careful notes and I’ve done some research, but I’m not an expert. Please reach out to me if you feel I’ve been misinformed or you have any questions. This knife is in excellent condition. I think this knife spent most of its time in my Dad’s display case. Blade and sheath show very very light scratches or signs of use. It is my understanding this Marble’s Woodcraft knife was made sometime during the period when the old Marble’s factory and its contents we’re purchased after it had been closed for many years. 1997-2010. Made in Gladstone, MI USA. Stag/Aluminum, brass guard, with brass, red, white and black spacers. Carbon steel blade. 9” overall length, 4.75” blade length, 1.25” blade height. Comes with leather sheath with Marble’s logo. Sheath shows natural leather darkening and some light wear. Comes with original two piece box. Knife in pictures is the exact knife you will receive. I have two of the knives currently for sale. They each have slight natural differences to the stag handles.

Your knife was produced in 1999 during the Stewart era (Aug of 1997 - Aug of 2001). Not of new old stock but of a completely new steel unlike historical Marble’s. It is of 52-100b carbon steel. All knives made during this era are THE best of the best Marble’s made. This was a time when new ownership of the company wanted to bring back knife production and what Marble’s was famous for - getting back to grass roots and they came back with a bang when they hired Mike Stewart to run that department.
