VINTAGE WW2 ERA JAPANESE SWAGGER STICK DRAGON HEAD CARVED WOOD For Sale

I do not know for sure, this could be WW2era Japanese or Vietnam era, using for officer rank major and higher, measures 19 inches, 2inch head, at the tip end looks like something was scratched in, I can not make it out, showing it in the pics. imperfections to me looks like a pissed off officer slam the head down and broke it, I see couple splits and clue where the carved dragon neck meets the shaft, also shown in pics, zoom in on the pics for better detail and cond., the damage is old , this is all I know of the item, if I am wrong and you know more please let me know, clad to hear from you, questions welcome, clad to assist
