VTG 50s ABSTRACT BLACK WOOD HORSE HEAD LAMP CERUSE WOOD MID CENTURY MODERN RETRO For Sale

For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage abstract horse head lamp from the 1950s. Materials: Ebonziedceruse wood andcentral brass cylinder. Measurements: The horse head stands approx. 15\" tall. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 19\" high. The rectangular base is approx. 9.75\" wide x 6\" deep. Condition: Very good, all-original vintage condition. Minor wear commensurate with age and use, but nothingalarming whatsoever - the lamp displays very well. There are no breaks, repairs, etc. While the lamp is fully functional and works, the electrical wiring should probably be replaced. It looks like the previous owners connected to wire cords together in order to get a longer cord. The lamp base still retains the original Underwriters Label on the rear side close to where the electrical cord comes out from the base (see photo).
