HAND-BLOWN GLASS ORNAMENT
Contemporary glass artist Victor Chiarizia is renowned forhis innovative hand blown glass suspended sculptures.Their futuristicforms are a departure from traditional Christmas ornament designs and theyreflect the artist’s fascination with outer space and his affinity for theunusual.
A well known glass artist, Victor’s works are found in finegalleries nationwide, and he created his blown, silvered and painted ornamentsfor only a brief time (approx. 1996 – 2000), making them extremely rare.
I will be listing my entire collection of Victor ornaments, soplease check out myother items. All ornaments come with their original tags,which were signed by Victor (unless noted). They have occasionally been displayed during theholidays, but only on individual hangers and never on a tree. **ALIEN AUTOPSY HAS NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED.** They have beenstored in acid-free paper in humidity-controlled ornament storage boxes. Any“imperfections,” unless specifically noted, are a result of the flashphotography and are in the same condition that I bought them in. I am theoriginal owner.

Bottom of ornament is signed by Victor and numbered 22/50.Hang tag is not signed by Victor. There was a price sticker on the back, but when it was removed, it pulled off part of the printed back of the tag.The ornament is in its original packaging (wrapped in tissue and bubblewrap, then in a hand-painted box that has been signed on top by Victor). This ornament is similar to the Mother Ship but does not have photos in the portholes. Original documentation letter (dated and hand numbered) also included. A really gorgeous piece!
Along with the ornament, I will include a copy of theartist’s statement, as well as a copy of the signed letter, (dated Jan. 1,2001) that Victor sent to dealers when he discontinued making ornaments.
