DESCRIPTION:
Vintage or antique 64\" high wooden walnut shaving stand with 12\" x 16\" wide marble top and adjustable mirror. I do not know the history on this piece, its exact age (maybe 1950\'s) or who the maker was. I believe it was made in Chicago, Illinois based on the tag on the back.
It looks to have been re-finished with some repairs and a piece added to the back for support. Most of it looks to be original to me. It sits best up against a wall as it is not very stable because of the marble top up so high (top heavy) and I would recommend it be secured to a wall.
It has a really great look with the darker front pieces and could be used other than a shaving stand.

CONDITION:
It is in very nice condition. You can see in the pictures where it had cracked or split on the back left side and that is why I think the support brace was added. The largest drawer does not have a stop and goes in too far. Most of it looks to be original so please look at all the pics and you decide. Mirror has no issues and is snug so it adjusts and stays where you put it. Marble top shows wear and will pull in and out. A few minor nicks and scratches, again it is overall very nice.
