I'll start off by saying this Was Not a full nut n bolt restoration, no bodywork was done to the cabinet before painting. That said it is a good looking and fully functional vending machine from the early 60's.
Made by the Federal Machine Co. in Des Moines, IA. This is a cup vendor, you deposit 10 cents and a mechanism drops one cup into the loading chute and a motor turns the dispensing wheel one revolution to fill the cup then stops.
Has a light in the popcorn compartment that could be switched out to a heating bulb if so desired. It does have a band heater around the lower popcorn reservoir which I have put on a switch so not to be running all the time.
Pictures 5 & 6 show some of the sheet metal flaws, such as spot welds (from factory) and some dings, you have to be at the right angle to really notice them that much. Overall the machine presents very well, and is a fairly rare and unique piece.
