Vintage Dogon,Mali Indigo Dyed Striped Fabric/Hand Woven Cotton Strips/42”x48\" For Sale

Vintage handwoven cotton and indigo dyed African fabric, made by the Dogon in Mali. This piece has 11 medium-heavy weight strips sewn together, each strip woven with a variety of dark and light blue stripes in different widths and with some mottling on the lighter blue stripes, as well as some of the solid blue areas woven with lighter/white threads to show subtle perpendicular lines.
42\" x 48\"; Textile isin very good-excellent condition for its age and use, and is very soft from wear and washing. Ends are hemmed, but uneven;no holes or major damage that I can see; one seam resewn with a white thread.
