Collector\'s Estate Sale Fresh,Here we are offering a WONDERFUL, Vintage, Carved Soapstone Figure, Two InuitEskimo in tender embrace.This is a quite Heavy Folk Art, Carving Figurine, smooth rubbings on there bodies.This is NOTsigned, that we could find.There is a spot on the bottom that almost looked like some marking.No paperwork was found and we feel that these are circa mid-20th century soapstone carvings.
This figurine measures approx. 5\" x 5\" across base and it is slightly over 6\" high at head and angle measures 8\".
This is pre-owned with moving, storage, displayed use and it is in VERY, VERY GOOD condition for its age.Thereis the normal production issues that come with carving this stone and characterof the stone itself.Normal scuffs, scratches, wear and nicks to edges due to storage/moving. It has a number of small chips around base and it could use a careful cleaning, household grime and dust in nooks and crannies. We could not find any other chips, NO cracks and NO restoration.
