Collectible 3 to 4 GALLON GLASS MASON CANNING JAR WITH EMBOSSED EAGLE. Measures 14\" x 8\" And Hickory Kist Beef Jerky Wooden Advertising CRATE measuring 18\" x 10\"
This beautiful Mason\'s Jar has an open winged American Eagle emblazoned on one side and \"Mason\'s Patent Nov. 30th 1858\" on the opposite side.
The bottom of the jar has a nice \"pebble\" embossing on it.
The lid of the jar is wooden and sets into the jar tightly. It does not thread on.I am uncertain as to the age of the jar or crate.I am not sure of the volume of the jar but using an Online conversion calculator, I believe to be a 3.5 Gallon jar based on the 14 x 8 \" measurement.It is a lovely rustic piece that would suit a primitive decor,restaurant or even as a stage prop.Please view all photos and thank you for looking.
