Vintage Neoclassical Red Stained Metal Urn Vase 8.5" Mum with Maze Design For Sale

Vintage Neoclassical or japanese design Red Stained Metal Urn Vase 8.5" Mum with Maze Design. Very unique urn that looks like it was used as a vase or a planter. Looks like there may still be a little bit of dirt stuck at the bottom. Measures about 8.5" tall and about 5" wide at its widest point. The rim is 2.5" wide. Great floral and geometric design detail in the 2" band near the shoulders of the vase. I am not sure what type of metal is used but it is silver colored and it is not magnetic. There is one pea sized area in the upper area above the band where the red stain is worn off. I can not say how old this item is but it is designed in a Japanese style or possibly and has a Neoclassical look to it. No markings.
