Vintage Original Al Capp Illustration Lil Abner Daisy & Mammy Yokum Dog Patch For Sale

This great, vintage, original Al Capp Illustration features Lil Abner with arms around Daisy with Mammy Yokum standing with corn pipe in mouth and arms crossed. Daisy stands barefoot on Abner\'s shoe. It is hand drawn, hand colored and has cross hatched adhesive paper that make Daisy\'s skirt, and Mammy\'s hooded jacket. This was most likely going to be published in some form in a magazine, as Lil Abner\'s thought bubble is blank. There is some white out in a few places. Also Daisy leans on a pencil drawn box that reads Dog Patch City Ord #29301 . Other words were erased , but are faintly evident - Absolutely No & then other words I can not make out. This drawing is in a pencil framed box that is aprox 6.5\" x 12 and the board it is on is aprox 9.5 x 14.5. Condition is excellent - with some scratches outside of the drawing area. Thank you, enjoy!
