Vintage Racom Spy Briefcase Detective Surveillance Wiretapping Recorder 1990’s For Sale

Here is a scarce suitcase style wiretapping device manufactured by Racom Products, Inc. of Cleveland Ohio. The 2816P is a microprocessor controlled Dialed No Recorder designed to monitor and document activity on subscriber lines. This is a six line desktop unit, 110/120 VAC, data output (RS232), with internal buffer, Dialed Number Recorder (DNR), capable of decoding both rotary and touch tone signal. Displays in real time, telephone number and elapsed time of call. It has a built in dot-matrix printer, with headphone and voice recorder jacks for each line, RS232 data output, Caller Number delivery capability and slave support. All of this is offered in the original covert, Italian Rona leather briefcase with hinged lid by Giovanni Castiglioni, with strap handle and two combination dial locks and instructions; the leather interior has two letter compartments and a clear plastic sleeve for your non-covert business card display. Comes with original instruction manuals and sales materials, including letters from the salesperson regarding a training seminar for it\'s operation in Brazil, dated 1996, and letters including purchase order for bulk sale of units totaling $150,000.00 to United Nations Industrial Development Organization in Vienna, Austria.
