Vintage Sargent 707 No 2 SizeAuto-Set Smoothing Plane INV9474

Here we have a nice Sargent 707auto-set smoothing plane. The bladeassembly appears original and the blade is marked sargent N@ 707 New Haven ConnUSA. Japaning is 98% or so. Tote has an old repair. I don’t know enough to useall the proper terminology so please forgive if I could have described itbetter. I have given it a very light cleaning but nothing more. It is invery good condition. Please see the pictures.
