Vintage Singer Model 221-1 Featherweight sewing machine and accessories in superb condition
Serial # AJ005378 places the year of manufacture at 1948 according to the Singer website
Included documentation (Original sales receipt)shows the machine purchased on July 2, 1949 in San Francisco, California
One owner machine, this is an estate sale treasure.
All original sewing attachments are present and accounted for.
Runs smooth quietand strong, forward and reverse
Light works
Power cord is supple and shows no cracking or damage of any kind
Foot pedal shows no wear
Original case with leather handle and accessory tray is excellent with original pair of keys for lockable latches
Original manual is complete, a few pages are loose but all pages are clear, untorn and unstained
