Original WW1 German Army Machine Gun Model 13 Ammunition Pouch Pair (Wehrmacht Heer MG-13 Patronentaschen Paar) in khaki web material and brown leather. This pattern was used throughout WW1 and was \'recycled\' for use by non-front line units in WW2. They are designed to carry four MG-13 magazines in each pouch (two each end).The pouches are in good condition. One of the clip hole surrounds is missing (see photographs) on both sides of that flap, otherwise they are complete. The fastening strap leather is complete and relatively pliable, although they are fairly thick leather, with makes them rigid to start with. All leather could do with some treatment to aid in their longevity. All the stitching is strong. Pouches are age and use stained but are not otherwise damaged.The central rear of each is hand marked with a five digit number. One is 80315 (on both belt loops) and the other is 80921 (inked on the web material at one end).Each pouch is 410 mm (16.14 in) wide and 150 mm (5.91 in) tall.
