WWII American Thompson M1A1 Parts Kit Set Complete For Sale

Up for sale today is aThompson M1A1 Original WWII WW2 parts kit set.I hand selected this part setabout 20 years ago and intended to build a display model. Well, it never happened so my loss is your gain. Very little wear on this set and no rust or pitting. The barrel has very nice rifling and the bore is bright, chamber smooth, still has front sight in place and a few stamps and markings. Barrel threads are very sharp/clean, no damage because I just had the front saw cut section of the receiver removed from the barrel. This can be easily hand tightened back on if you wish.Wooden hand guard fits tight to the barrel and frame, screw is clean, with a working sling swivel. Complete Bolt is very clean with very good firing pin and extractor, \"U\" stamped on the side and a \"S\" clearly stamped into the rear of the bolt. I am told this means it was made by \"Savage Arms\". Strong main spring and clean spring guide and very good spring buffer. Buffer has two \"*\" stamped on the back and \"A.O.C.\" stamped on the front. This I am told stands for \"Auto Ordnance Company\". There is a small section of rear receiver with Auto-Ordnance Co. address on one side and information and serial number on the other. It also holds the rear sight. Lower section is complete and fully working and clean. Shoulder stock and pistol grip wood has not been sanded and there is plenty to work with if you wished to lighten the color and refinish. As always there are a few light dings and scratches but no major damage. Working rear sling swivel. All these parts were placed on a receiver fired with no issues! You would have a hard time looking for a better parts set than this!Ask any question you want. I will not be doing any returns on this item unless they fall under the guildlines.
