Western L-77 Knife & Sheath WWII Personal EDC Fighting Trench GREAT CONDITION For Sale

Here\'s a really nice old Western L-77 knife. The story I got with it (wish I had some paper provenance with it) is that the fellow had this knife when he was first in WWII, he used it very little & then got one of the Kabar\'s so he no longer used this one. Instead of getting rid of it he sent it home where it was waiting on him when he got home & never used it much after that. This info may not be worth a plug nickle, it was just what I was told & will in no way attest to it being the gospel so take it as I did with a grain of salt.The overall length of the knife is approximately 11 1/8\", the blade is approx. 6 13/16\". Everything is solid. No loose leather on the handle, the guard is solid & the pommel is solid.As I mentioned above the sheath has the real wear. I believe it\'s the original one that came with it. I\'m not really in the know about WWII cutlery but I have seen these with a couple of different sheaths, this one not being as good as the other one. I may be mistaken on this.
