We are continuing to offer items from a large estate collection. Please check our other items for sale! ZONOPHONE "CONCERT GRAND" PHONOGRAPH
ZONOPHONES were products of the Universal Talking Machine Company, starting in 1898, which survived as an independent manufacturer until 1904, when they were bought out by Victor. They are prized by collectors for their distinct features and comparative rarity.
This model is known as a "Concert Grand". It is in exceptional condition.
Most components appear to be original, with the exception of a new turntable felt and a later-made reproducer. The 16" horn support arm is aluminum, so that may be later-made as well. The brass bell horn is about 29" long and 14" diameter. We have tested this phonograph and it works and sounds just great.SHIPPING: We will properly pack and ship this to your door via FedEx. It is too large to ship via USPS.We can also arrange delivery to the Orlando Phonograph Show in January, or local pickup if you prefer.A great addition to your collection!!!musicaltreasuresofmiami is a world-wide leading seller of antique phonographs, music boxes, clocks and other fine items.
