It works. It is made of stainless steel. The blades that it comes with are halfway decent. It is inexpensive. However the standard of manufacture is very low. There isn't one piece of this three piece razor that isn't covered in knicks, tooling marks and just sloppy machining. I know what I'm talking about , Ive been a machinist for years. Even the MADE IN PAKISTAN leather pouch has botched up sewing. I suspect that this GERMAN MADE razo isn't made in Germany is composed of factory second parts
