This model has more features than the previous models. It measures the room temperature which can be viewed remotely. That is helpful for monitoring a vacation unit in case the AC stops working. I don’t think they make these anymore so the price was much lower than previous ones that I purchased.

I have installed 2 of these in my home. I am now able to remote-view my living room and bedroom from anywhere. Of all the many features, my favorite is the push-notification. The camera(s) send an instant notification to my smartphone whenever there is motion in its view. It can also be configured to sound off a siren if someone enters its view. I also have it recording video to my PC while I am away. Many personalize-able settings. For the most part, my phone app will connect quickly to the cameras. There have been a couple of instances when it took a couple of minutes. The connection is more reliable if hard-wired to router than if wireless/WiFi.
