I bought this vibratory tumbler for polishing rocks but learned I din't read the literature close enough. It was not built for rocks, Sorry for misunderstnading the real use but I didn't have a choice at the time it arrives, so after some trial and mistakes, found that it can realy do a good job on agates but not softer type. It works for me since that is the rock of my choice for polishing and I did get another vibratory tumbler that doesn't do the job as well. My mistake turned out well. The only thing I would change is to make the lid more secure. I added a large washer which seems to quiet it more.

For those that can't afford the $200 - $500 machines, this little vibratoy works great. The fac it can be used wet or dry is great advantage, replacement bowls are avaliable when needed.

This item is absolutely useless, I know rock tumblers I already had 9 tumblers. I bought this one to polish small quanity of small rocks. This thing was a loss of of money.
