Make sure you know that you're paying for a Made In USA tool Crescent / Cooper , or other USA made tool or tools. That's why you still see older tools around , you get what you pay for. These tools will be around long after we're gone just as they have been in recent years. I see tools on eBay , flee shops , and other places. I hate to say it but most Americans are quick to buy cheap import tools made in China , Taiwan and most of the time they don't last. Most importantly, American jobs are fading because American companies want to maximize profits and use basically slaves to turn out thier products. I'm sorry if I offended anyone but that's a whole other problem. Buy American made for American workers. One more note ; the whole Made In USA ( With Global Components ) Still not %100 ... Well made tool
It is very hard to find small sized tools that are actually well made. I work with low pressure air-lines and well made small tools are very desirable. 4-inch tools are often made like for key-rings, or for "looks," but not as functional tools. This one, however, is a good one. Very well made. Smooth action, nice finish, no problems at all. Looks nice in the toolbox.
