Just Listed: Doeskin Milk Glass Lamp Shades with Egg and Dart Border, Pair

These lovely Victorian style lamp shades have a traditional egg and dart border and scalloped panels. The semi translucent milk glass has a matte finish known as Doeskin. The shades are 5″ tall and 4″ across at the widest part. The flange has a 1.75″ opening and will fit a fixture approximately 2.25″ wide. Both shades are in excellent condition with the only wear noted on the flanges -- some roughness on the inside edge and some discoloration where the screws attach it to the fixture. Neither of these flaws is apparent when the shades are installed.

A lovely amber lamp shade with high relief roses and branches of leaves against a stippled background. These large glass shades measure 5.5″ tall and are over 8″ in diameter. The flared opening at the top is 5″ wide and the flange or collar is 6.75″ wide. Each lamp shade is in excellent condition and we believe they were sold by L G Wright Glass and date from the 50s to 70s. Repair your vintage lamps with these lovely shades and bring a deep mellow glow to your room.

It has a flat attached tail and four round feet. We have left it as-found for those who prefer a natural aging, but it can be polished to a bright finish if you wish. This is a fairly heavy ornament that will suit any exotic decor.

This happy little guy measures only 2″ tall. The tip of his trunk is turned up to bring you luck, like any good elephant should do. Although he is painted to resemble cinnabar, he seems to be carved wood and features a scroll design on his back, legs and head. His ears and head are oversized, giving him a whimsical look. I'm not sure of the dating of this piece, but I have owned him for more than 10 years. He's a great pet for your collection -- and one you don't have to clean up after.
