View Larger Image   Stanley Side Rabbet Plane Pair No. 98 & 99   Description: Offering this hard to find matched pair of right and left hand side rabbet planes. Stanley made these between 1896 and 1942. The two you will see in the pictures have rosewood knobs and nickel plating. The nickel plating on the No. 99 is about 85% intact, where the No. 98 has about 40% intact. Both have solid knobs with no cracks, some wear and small dings. The cutters are at full length, maybe one or two light sharpening only. There is a Patent date marked on each "JAN 29 95", the same on both. The patent date is a bit hard to read due to a light imprint.
