View Larger Image   Millers Falls No. 9 Bench Plane w/Two Piece Cap Cover   Description: This is a nice clean bench plane marked "MILLERS FALLS" on the cap cover, blade iron, and side of bed. Also marked No. 9 on the side of bed and "MADE IN USA" just in front of the tote. The cap cover is marked "PAT NO. 1822620" which is a patent number date of around 1932. Nickel plating is about 90% intact on the special two piece cap cover, and Japanning is about 95% intact on the body. The rosewood handle have about 90% of the original vanish intact and are in good condition with no cracks, but a 1/4 x 1/4 scrape on the front of the tote near the MADE IN USA mark. The cutter is sharp with plenty of lenghth left for future sharpening. A very unique plane with less than normal wear and scratches.
