Antique Firmer Chisel / Slick 2 1/2" Heavy Duty

Description:
This is a very nice 19th century heavy duty chisel that is not marked with a maker's name. A very nice early firmer chisel. The steel measures 8" long from the sharp cutting edge to the handle. The handle has, split and cracks, but it's all held together tightly by the heavy steel ferrule and iron cap ring. Sharp and ready to use or display. A top quality chisel, that has lasted many years, plenty of years left in it! Most likely imported from Europe over 100 years ago. Nice quality steel!
