View Larger Image   G. I. Mix Adjustable Handle Draw Knife Rare 9" Size   Description: This is a well used adjustable draw knife with the name "G. I. MIX & CO. 1901" stamp on the steel. It is also marked in a second place "PAT. DEC. 31 1901". One of the latest patents by this quality maker from Connecticut USA. There is a picture showing the the special cast handles that allow positioning by way of slots and ribs. This tool was well used and has seen quite a bit of sharpening, and the wood part of the handles have been well worn, but are not cracked. The blade is sharp and useable.
