View Larger Image   Brown & Sharpe Straight Edge Set No. 536   Description: This is a nice clean beveled straight edge set. It's marked "BROWN & SHARPE MFG. CO. PROVIDENCE R.I." on the leather covered wood case, and "B & S MFG. CO. PROV. R.I." on each of the small precision ground straight edges. There is a total of 6 different lengths in the set, from .5" to 2.0" long x .077" thick. This rare precision set is in good useable condition with some tiny spots of pitting, on the top (opposite the beveled side) mostly. The straight beveled edges are all very good. The case is velvet lined inside, with narrow slots to hold the set in place. The hinges and latch are in good working condition. Lite wear on the outside. Overall a very nice example of a very rare precision set of beveled straight edges.
