View Larger Image   Stanley Defiance No. 1204 Smooth Plane   Description: This is a very clean vintage Stanley Defiance Smooth plane dating back to around 1940's. It is clean with about 95% of it's original grey paint intact. This one is marked "DEFIANCE by STANLEY MADE IN U.S.A. NO. 1204" on the cutter blade. It's marked "MADE IN U.S.A." in front of the tote. The front knob and handle are black painted hardwood, solid no cracks. The cutter is sharp, nice clean iron, with lots of stock left for feature use. In good working order!
