Disston No. 240 Metal Cutting Hand-Saw
|

Description:
Offering this hard to find metal cutting straight back hand-saw marked on the 24" long "HENRY DISSTON & SONS KEYSTONE SAW WORKS PHILADEPHIA U.S.A. FOR CUTTING METAL". The etch is rather light and hard to take a picture of. The Medalion is marked "DISSTON * U.S.A. * ". This is a good clean example. It has a nice straight blade with some darkening or staining, but clean, not rusty. Like most metal cutting saws, it could use a sharpening, but will cut as is, no broken teeth. The handle is very nice with about 90% of it's original finish on it, good hardware, and fits nice and snug to the blade. A nice hard to find collectible saw overall!
