This exquisite set of 10 hand-painted plates is a rare find, featuring a beautiful scalloped gilt design with a fish motif. Each plate is a unique work of art. Each plate is marked with a distinctive MT stamp.
Looking at them very carefully, it appears that 2 have a minor, hardly noticeable, chip in the gold. Please look at the pictures carefully.
I believe they are Limoges porcelain handcrafted in France, although it is not noted on the plates. They are surely very old as they are from the collection of an antique collector who had passed away over 60 years ago.
Never used in our family. They were hung on the wall in the dining room for the last 30 years. Downsizing and sadly these must go.
9 Plate hangers will be included for wall hanging. Use them decoratively or as an exquisite addition to your dining table.
