Its most distinctive feature is the natural comet-like secondary growth extending from one side, giving the crystal a dynamic silhouette that looks as if it is moving forward with a golden trail of light. is a uniquely formed Himalayan quartz crystal from the Ganesh Himal region of Nepal, one of the most respected and sought-after quartz localities in the world.
Crystals from Ganesh Himal form at extreme altitudes and are carefully hand-mined in very limited quantities, making them significantly more rare than common quartz from other regions.
This piece carries a soft golden tone created by iron oxide naturally integrated into the crystal during growth, rather than surface staining. The coloration appears warm, natural, and deeply embedded within the structure.
Its most distinctive feature is the natural “tail-like” extension along one side — a secondary growth formation created as the crystal continued to develop under shifting geological conditions. This gives the piece a flowing, asymmetrical silhouette that stands out immediately.
The surfaces display strong horizontal growth striations, often referred to as Himalayan or Akashic lines, which are especially well developed in Ganesh Himal material due to its unique formation environment.
